Tech Tip: Because this pump moves $10\ \text{GPM}$, it requires a significant water supply. You must ensure your inlet plumbing is at least $1″\ \text{ID}$ (Internal Diameter) to prevent cavitation. Running a Model 660 “dry” or with restricted water will destroy the $3000\ \text{PSI}$ seals almost instantly.
