PA Pressure Switch 3/8″ MPT 15 AMP

This pressure switch is designed to respond to changes in system pressure by either opening or closing an electrical circuit. It can be used in various applications within a pressure washer system. For instance, when paired with a trigger gun, the switch acts as a fluid control device. When the gun valve closes, the pressure rises, activating the switch to cut off power to the system. Once the gun valve reopens, pressure drops, the switch closes, and power is restored.

When used for boiler control, the switch completes the circuit to supply power to the burner assembly. As pressure increases, the switch activates to power the burner, and when pressure drops, the plunger returns to its default position.

Pressure Switch Wiring:

The switch is wired with three leads. Two of these leads are used based on whether the switch is configured for “normally on” or “normally off” operation. For fluid system control, the switch is typically installed in the “normally closed” position. For boiler control, it can be set up in the “normally open” position.
